Cardiocrinum giganteum in a distinctive lime-green form, flowering in our woodland. We raised this stock from seeds collected in Ciaojian, Yunnan, China by Ivor Stokes.
Jim and Jenny Archibald invite you to join them at the cutting-edge of horticulture.

We specialize in supplying seeds from wild species of non-woody plants of potential garden-value to the most advanced amateur and professional growers throughout the cool-temperate and continental climatic regions of the world.

We have been involved exclusively with collecting, cultivating and distributing seeds to specialist growers for 20 years. Our customers, many of whom have been with us over these 20 years, are spread throughout Europe, the USA, Canada, Japan, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Our business is small and personal.

JJAseeds is our specialist web-site, where we list the seeds we have available at present. We maintain unrivalled ranges of seeds from about thirty horticulturally important genera, as well as hundreds of other species, many not available elsewhere. Much of the seed is from plants cultivated by us, often from wild seed-collections, made by ourselves or other leading field-collectors, and established in cultivation by us in Wales. Most seed listed has field data relating to the original wild population. We collaborate closely with and often list seeds from the world's leading growers of each genus. Liaison with many of the most authoritative taxonomists ensures that the names of the seeds we distribute conform with current botanical nomenclature.
